Howdy all, hope this finds you all groovy. Straight to the point; I am putting up my " Hohner President " alto for trade. Fully overhauled a month back, it is a tremendous horn. Same old story really; I only feel right on the bigger horns (T/B ). So; 1953 " Hohner President " RTH. Double socket, fully silver plated ( not nickel ). A bit of a special horn really, it has great reveiws. ( SOTW ); also some great pics on Helens Bassic site. In exchange?? I need an old tenor/bari. Thinking some stencil horn really. Conn, Beuscher, King Stencils come to mind, as does Grassi etc.Cosmetics do not bother me. A battered Zephyr, a " Varsity " ( King stencil ) would do me fine. I am not so optomistic as to expect a bari to come up. This I will leave open, if something comes up then all the better. Alto players and collectors please check out this Hohner. At sale, I reckon 5 to £750. I will pay the 20% based on that estimation. Any questions, offers etc. please PM me. A friend has some photos of the alto. If need be please ask, I can E Mail them to you. Thanks for your time. Ade

Inclusive; Runyon delrin Quantum6; & case. Alto will go on E Bay in time; I wanted to try it here first. There are not too many of these about; ( certainly not in silverplate ). It would be cool to see it go to somebody who will appreciate it. Dont take my suggestions too literally. Pan Americans, Martins (& stencils )...and on. A well used workhorse is just what I need. Have a good weekend all. Ade

Mornin all. I am gonna put this up on E Bay in the next couple of days. I have a borrowed tenor right now, so all is cool. I should have been straight with myself first time around; I made a poor choice of tenor. Why I did not just sell and replace it I dont know. A lesson learned, nothing lost but time. I wish I had an affinity with altosax...we just dont seem to get on. I have sent out a couple of pms. Here or E Bay, I have no doubt it will sell and I can get back on my feet. One tenor, One bari, One happy old man. Have a Great Week. Ade

Hi. I am gonna slow down a little on this. I have taken it off E Bay; i could not justify selling it so cheap and then still having to source a decent vintage tenor. I am however getting interest regarding possible trades so all is going well enough. To follow on from that trade offers are still open. Take it easy; Many thanks. Ade
