Might be like the one I have,will have to take a look not sure if there's an s in it ie Thorsman or if that's the Internet co,if it is it seems to play reasonably well and looks quite nice but couldn't recommend it on the way it's put together and the pads aren't too hot either, I will get back to you when I've checked .....John

John, yours is a Thomann.

I liked it when I played it, but the LH tbale was a bit awkward- could be the way I hold the sax..

Hi all, and many thanks....looks as though I might well give the Jericho a go. It sounds like an excellent copy of my good old YTS62, which I should never have sold. We live and learn (sometimes)!

Has anyone played the jericho tenor? Is it the same quality horn as the eqv alto?

Interesting.....according to the specs' its construction parameters are identical. On the website there is a test which is quite revealing and informative, featuring the tenor.

I bought a Thomann Antique, it weighed a ton, was falling to bits, perhaps through mishandling. Tech man sneered at it and charged €90 to get it working and balanced. I bought it as my first tenor and soon after got a 1959 H.n.White Cleveland which I love. Much lighter, hugely superior sound, full of character. Wouldn't recommend the Thomann unless ridiculously cheap as a means of seeing if it was worth taking up sax. It persuaded me but I'd now be happy to sell it on for €320, perfectly set up.

I got a thomann TTS 150 last month. THomann told me its the same sax as the antique just different finish. Im very happy with it. Great deal for 345 euro. Plays and sounds great. I had to loosen all the springs as they were very tight and i replaced the right thumb hook with one i made myself as it was too short for me. It played right out of the box, no leaks, everything perfect on it. Great case with it too. Super deal for the money and that delivered to my door in dublin. Its not a yani but for a tenth of the price its pretty good. Ive already done some recordings with it and play it every day. It is a little heavier than usual but i got used to that pretty quickly. Hope this helps

The Thomann looks very similar in the pictures to the G4music model. It does make one wonder if these econmy instruments come from the same factory. I'm very happy with my G4M sop, alto and tenor by the way.

yes also very llike the bauhaus walstein which i suspect is made in the same place
