Jazz The Subject Is Jazz - 1960s TV Series

Andy, what a find! Lots to get through but the first clip, continued in the fifth clip, is worth it on its own. Good to see the great John Hammond explaining things and what a band. Among them Ben Webster (giving a lesson in how to hardly move the fingers - did he use an early version of Pete's sax-o-glue?), Benny Morton and Buck Clayton (in fine form, but then was he ever anything else?). I guessed at Paul Quinichette as the Prez play alike (and less controlled fingering!) and the end credits confirmed it.

Great for a Sunday morning injection of swing. Thanks!:welldone
