Well I've been playing with the blues group downtown and things sort of changed so John and myself decided to try a duo! We worked 18 years ago in a trio and this is sort of the same music. Playing in about 3 places (mainly older groups!!!) of course it is all volunteer now but we enjoy playing since we are both hitting 70 (he of course is a year older.... ) actually i am a baby at 69>:) Just a summer band as he goes to El Centro, California in the winter , while I stay here. Well I guess that's enough drivel.
So here is "The Bare Necessities"

As you will notice!!!! no enhancements, I just boosted volume. Took this straight of the board. John uses a midi Bass/Drum machine he bought in '85 (1985) and I think it smokes dope or something:))):)))

Hi,
great work. But what the devil is going on with Quando Quando Quando? Is that where the dope smoking gizmo takes a 'trip' on it's own?:)))

That is exactly what I meant...... John sets it for a certain rhythmical pattern and then as he plays the chords the bass goes to his rhythm which then seems to make it gooble (nice new musical term !!!) along playing its own rhythm plus Johns:w00t::w00t:
If listening is bad you should try to play with the beast!!!!
Of course I really can't say to much as John is always right!!!!!!!!:mrcool:mrcool plus he is playing piano,getting this thing working and singing.... me I just doodle along;}

Hi Saxman

All I can say is brilliant, listened to and loved them all, I'm taking it that john was singist because of the sax running at the same time in most of them.

Wish I could play in such a relaxed and confident way, but as you say you have quite a few years expierience behind you and it shows, and like you say johns always right
