Bari’s shouldn’t have to play quietly - it’s up to the others to keep up.
If they keep complaining, get a PPT mouthpiece and really give them something to compete with!

Despite not having @tenorviol with us and me suffering miserably with a cold we had a fantastic session today. We are playing much better together.

We played Waltz No 2 Jazz Suite, 3 times through and it came together
Mercy Mercy Mercy and did brilliant with the dynamics, they normally get completed ignored :)
Dad's Army Theme - quite a new one for us
Groovy Kind of Love - fell apart a little in the middle but we worked on it.
Our biggest effort went in to Plink Plank Plunk, a real test of counting and embouchure strength
A brand new one - James Bond Theme to test our sight reading
And finished with @nickh favourite - Bare Necessities!!

Thanks to @chadders for patiently leading us and the rest of the gang, it was great fun. I'm so glad I got out of bed for it

Currently on West Coast mainline train from London, where I appear to have an American train manager (conductor in old speak)... I spent 6 hours observing a trustees meeting of a charity I’m reviewing wearing my business analyst’s hat...

We celebrated a certain young man's birthday today, note the jazzy shirt :)

My photo hasn't saved, @trimmy can you upload yours?

Playing was really good, I even got some counting right!!

We played, Mercy Mercy, Shostakovich's waltz no.2, Pavan no 25 and Plink Plank Plunk

All after doing some breathing exercises oh and ate lots of pie and cakes
