Tenor or Baritone Sax Player required in Bournemouth!

Hi all!

Our band Rat Race are a hard working 9 piece ska band from Poole.
We are currently looking to recruit a new tenor or baritone player asap to the band to play alongside our alto sax, bass tromobone and trumpet.
We play a lot of the famous ska two tone hits along with a few of our own tracks for good measure!

We gig almost every week and rehearse every other Monday.
Most of our gigs are based in Dorset.

Hi Dallardj, I'd have been interested in helping out as this is exactly the sort of thing i have been waiting for, i play quite a bit of Ska, more old school stuff though rather than two-tone, only problem is you're about 180 miles away so will have to pass on it this time.

Why couldn't you have been from Leicester?

Ahhh what a shame!!
We do play a lot of the old school stuff aswell! Prince buster, Toots and the maytals, Skattilites, Desmond dekker etc! We try to vary the range as much as we can! Were a very brass driven band!

Hey if you ever move down to Dorset though give us a bell!!

I love "Pressure Drop", ever since got the Jimmy Cliff LP "The Harder They Fall" in 1973. I'll have to get my tenor trombone out and plasy along with some Specials & Desmond Drummond tunes!
