Hi all, can anyone tell me how I make a "Clickable" link to another website?
I've been advised to remove the "Page" that links to this site and instead have a page of clickable links. I must say I prefer this idea as you can see all the links on one page. So can anyone help me (in layman's terms of course! ;})

Hey Hey Taz ...

Surely you have already done that in your signature :- It links to your UTube account and your website page [Which are both other websites]

What application are you using to build your website? Because it will make a difference to the code you apply ...

I assume it's for your links page: [this kind of thing]

This link to page one - [your site]

This link to page two - Best Saxophone Website ever [Doron's Site]

Hope that's useful mate ... *Big Friendly Wave*

If you are suing code rather than a page building "wizard", a typical link is done like this:

Code:
<a href="http://www.thesiteyoulinkto.com">Link to the site</a>
The text you see in on the page as a link (this example) would be "Link to the site" and when you click it goes to the site with the URL inside the "...." bit of the code.

You could link to this site thus:

Code:
<a href="http://cafesaxophone.com">Cafe Saxophone - discussion forum</a>

Thanks for the help Sunray, but I want to create several links from my new site. I know how to do them from this site, just not from that one. It's "Weebly.com" if that helps.

Cheers mate, and a bl@@dy huge wave back to you too :)))

And you can embellish the code by adding things

e.g. In this example code the title text pops up when people hover their mouse pointer over the link
Code:
<a href="http://cafesaxophone.com" title="cafe saxophone discussion forum" >Cafe Saxophone - discussion forum</a>
And here the target bit means the page will open in a new browser window:
Code:
<a href="http://cafesaxophone.com" title="cafe saxophone discussion forum" target="_blank" >Cafe Saxophone - discussion forum</a>

So you wanna develop your own website [learn a new language] lmao ...

I just had a look a Weebly.com - There is a Support section which covers most situations ... Just ask ... ;}

But - This sort of website may be of more help: There are loads out there - Google learning HTML ...
