Sunny Day

The lovely voice(s) are the Dirty Blondes, of which the lead voice is Laurie Stras, who happens to be my wife. She is very modest so wanted the credits to just be the vocal group, ie the Dirty Blondes.

The bass line is my old chum vocalist Den Hegarty.

Thank you all for the very kind words and compliments!

If I could trouble you to help please by going to the actual Youtube page (click on the Youtube icon at the bottom right of the embedded video in the first post) and give it a thumbs up and maybe a nice comment, that would be lovely.

A great way to start the day.

Definitely backwards-flying seagull, maybe it's the weejum bird that flies in backward circles until it disappears up its own cloaca.

I don't see it.

there are three seagulls

1) Flies right to left
2) Also flies right to left
3) Flies left to right.

They all look to me like they are flying forwards, I just checked full screen and with pausing.

very odd.

I agree with Ivan. The seagull is misshapen, neck head too long, body too thick at the back, so that the legs sticking out look more like a head. Head looks more like a tail. Wings match the direction of flight.

give me a double of what ever you've just had.......;->

Absolutely Ornithologically correct - Those are of course the lesser known Canard seagulls well known for their pusher configuration propulsion.

Great work Pete - looking forward to the first full length feature film - "Dirty Blondes down in the Farmyard" or "Dirty Blondes go up country" . . . . .

Maybe I can settle the all-important seagull issue.

Most of what you see in the video is animated hand drawn things. But the seagull is stock footage of an actual seagull, here are a few frames of the full size source movie, converted to an animated gif file.
