A true story... I once frequented a classical forum where myself and others would share their classical compositions. I also shared my jazz pieces as well. There was one guy on there who was incredibly strait laced tradition...Real strait arrow...No open mind whatsoever. He also was very religious in a dogmatic sort of way. Trust me!
He remarked, and I assume he was very serious, that my jazz as well as my classical was the work of the devil. He said I write evil music and especially my jazz thing was highly blasphemous to God's ears. I didn't know he knew God that well...lol...God never mentioned it to me!
He also said I'll probably burn in hell for the way I approach music. It is kind of hot in here today!
Sure, my type of jazz is possibly an acquired taste and I'm not a religious type of guy. I just got a kick out of someone who apparently still lives mentally in the 15th century where his views on music are highly laughable.
My music is so innocuous it's ridiculous. Naturally, I assume people do get offended by certain types of music. I think that's ridiculous in itself. Not liking something is cool, but becoming offended by it is a joke. Why take it so personal, right?
It's all good, yo!
Anyway,
