Sopranino Saxophone

I was going to buy a BW but then when I had wanted to buy it they were out of stock, so nothing came of it.

So maybe someone here has a decent sopranino for a decent price. I don't mind a John Packer pink brass sopranino on the cheap or I could stretch my budget somewhat higher up if there would be something worth my while (Yanagisawas ?) I ma not interested in vintage ones, great though they might be for others they aren't my thing.

Let me know!

well, I have now bought one from Taiwan from a brand that works for other makers too. This model, unlike many Yanagisawa copies, has keywork extended to High F#. I have to wait a few months before I actually come into the physical possession of the horn 🙂

sure I will, but it won't be anytime soon since it will be brought to me from Taiwan in March at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt.
Anyway it is made by the same maker who provides this model to two very famous Taiwanese brands.

the Sagacious Taiwanese sopranino has finally arrived here (it took a little more than two months to make after the order) it looks really very nice (I will take pictures at some stage) and as far as I can tell it plays well (my playing of the higher notes on high saxophones in not great but I know it is me). It is the same as other high end taiwanese sopranino and I chose the copper version to go with my bronze curved soprano. I am playing it with Yanagisawa 7. These saxophones are not cheap and they would be priced to the general public at around 2000€ (but I have paid the dealer's price).
