The "Mythical" Selmer baritone...
"For a lucky few collectors and musicians, if you find one, play it and play it with pride and get to say you have one of only 50."

It is with a sad heart (and a bad back) that this one has to go. I've been playing it less and less as my back gives me more and more twinges (fell off a ladder some years ago).
In any case I'm primarily an alto 'home' player and this should be out in the wild, performing gigs for someone who'd like a special instrument.
Neither my wife, my dogs, nor my neighbours much care for the sound I produce. How dare they I say... it sounds lovely!

Douglas also emailed me a few years back with the following info:
NB. Original email available to buyer.
It has no lower body serial number or copyright markings, but it does have its serial number, 319063, on the body to bell brace.
If you're interested please contact me and I'll talk you through what I know of its past. It is, as far as I know, identical to a MkVI apart from the model number markings.
Serviced a few years back by Matt at Sheward-MIR (see invoice in photos) it's playing beautifully with an addictive tone.
You won't want to put it down!... unless or until you too have a bad back!
Comes in a BAM High-tech case (RRP c£750) with an HR Yanagisawa 7 mouthpiece, ligature, cap, and a few Rico reeds (which have worked perfectly fine for me).
Who do you know who has one of these?
NB. May be advertised elsewhere and may sell without notice.
