My wife and I went to see Snake Davis at the Spin in Oxford last night...

What a great and versatile player and a wonderful tone...

Well worth seeing him (IMHO) if you get the chance.

Amazing. I live 50 minutes from Oxford and thought I knew it reasonably well, but had never heard of the Spin till I read this post - thanks Alistair. Wish I had known about Snake Davis - I'm a big admirer of his stuff, but I'll try and make the Mornington Lockett gig on 1st April.
