Good morning all,
I am putting my Selmer Series 3 Alto (clear lacquered, unengraved) up for sale. This is not a happy day for me, but a necessary one. I am currently on a round-the-world trip and cash is running extremely low. However, I have come to the realisation that things are more readily replaceable than experiences. Also, I have my tenor sax with me, so will not be completely musically bereft. So, as my alto sits home gathering dust, I have decided to pass it on to a good home where someone will cherish it as it deserves to be loved.
I have been a member of this forum for a little while, have both bought and sold things here, so please ask around if you would like references. The sax was bought new in Geneva where I used to live in 2006, please check my previous postings for some postings of when I bought it (basically, it's not an eBay purchase and turnaround)
The package for sale
1 x Selmer Paris S80, Series 3 Alto in clear lacquer/unengraged in v.good condition. No dings, no dents, signs of light/normal use
1 x Selmer Lite Case (Charcoal Grey/Black) with detatchable backpack straps
1 x Jody Jazz ESP 7 Mouthpiece with spoiler + Rovner Ligature
1 x Meyer Ebonite 6 Mouthpiece with BG Tradition Ligature
The price for the lot: £1750.00 + PP
(If you are wondering how much it costs to get the lot new, from saxophones.co.uk, this is what it would set you back -
Photos of all items available on request, donation to Pete's Charity goes without saying.
I will endeavour to answer all questions, queries and comments on a daily basis, but in the interests of being fair, it is a first-come, first served thing.
Cheers everyone
