A retired musician pal of mine who used to play with Laurie Holloway Orchestra has asked me to sell his Claud Selmer clarinet mouthpiece. It is around 30 - 40 years old he believes. Photos below. He thinks it is a "D or DD" lay. It will come with a free Boosey and Hawkes clarinet in original case and also with a mouthpiece. Also about 30/40 years old. It will need some attention.

He thinks the mouthpiece could be worth around £80 - £100 . Comments or offers. Postage to be paid (£10ish?) and a donation will be made to the cafe.

Please PM me or post any questions.

Not a lot to say! I have no knowledge at all of clarinets. It is in an original case. It is Boosey and Hawkes. Black in colour. Mouthpiece. My pal said it will need attention. Doesn't look broken (but that is me looking!).

What else can I say? I don't have the ability to post photos at present.

Prof, Henri who? , mpc, is Claude, the Boosey Clarinet, any serial numbers- both joints should have identical serial numbers, metal tenon rings? the stick must be stamped with a model, not just Boosey & Hawkes, could be 1010, series 2-20, Regent, Edgeware, Emperor, Imperial,- even Marlborough or 77 but if a Selmer mpc was used, then I kind of thought it would be one of the better models?

Henri Selmer mpc plus clarinet. There is another mpc with the clarinet. Cannot make out any numbers other than Boosey and Hawkes London.

Aaah.............serial number 36145

Any use?
