Accessories Selmer Alto Case Question

Hello,

Recently got a black flight type case for my SA 80 mk2 alto.

I have a question about the Selmer logo on the side of the case. It looks like a stuck on two pieces of flat plastic with the logo printed on them - my tenor Selmer hard case has a rubber like logo with embossed raised lettering as do all the similar cases I found pictured on the Internet.

So has anybody come across this type of case or might it be a fake?

Hi Tony I can't picture what you describe. Perhaps a photo of the new case might help.

The logo on my case is a silver disc with black lettering.
Getting a picture will be difficult as I have a naff '2' pixel phone camera and no lead to down load data.
If body else has more evidence that the case is fake - I can use that to go back to the person I bought it from.

Hello all again,
Panic over.
I wrote an Email to Selmer Paris HQ and got a reply within an hour!
They say it's an old generation model - "all in conform".
