Hello all,
I am a senior in high school and I have been playing saxophone for about six years, with musical experience prior to that. The saxophone I have now is a Keilworth student horn. It has served me quite well over the years, but it's time I move on to an intermediate horn. I can spend quite a bit of money if I have to, but I was wondering what else you all can offer as to what other options there are.

For one thing, I have discovered the Allora brand intermediate saxophone. I was wondering if you all could give me your opinions. Would this be a good choice? Is this a reputable company? etc.

Any information you all can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Wyatt Earp

Hi, just to ask the obvious questions - which student Keilwerth do you have, and why do you want to move up (what can't/doesn't the Keilwerth do?).

Allora was a brand from the german B&S company. Not sure if they're sill made, but if so it'll be from the far East.

afik, Allora was a Pro level sax, but production finished about 5-10 years ago. Could be a really good instrument, if the price is right.
