Not a new member, but a new name in light of the fact I am not longer starved of this particular instrument. Couldn't think of anything more imaginative than my name, which is fairly sad. Hello to all those recently joined.

Well, you know what I've got as I keep banging on about my Walstein Tenor and TJ Revolution alto. So I've got the equipment and practice enough to be sated. Perhaps I should have changed my handle to Talent Starved then it would still be appropriate. Ho hum! Onwards and upwards.

"Onwards and upwards" is the motto of Camden School for Girls. How did you get in, you lucky beggar?

Aha! You've found me out. As it happens I scrub up quite nicely with a bit of eye liner. It's also a loose translation of the RAF motto, per ardua ad astra, or 'through hard work to the skies' (or something like that). Military types will correct me, I'm sure.

'Per Ardua ad Astra' translate as 'Pull up the ladder Jack, I'm fireproof.' or was that 'Per Ardua ad Asbestos'?
