It can be accompanied, but that requires either live musicians to play with or someone's rubato accompaniment, which would be hard to play along with, I think. OTH, someone could take a sax rubato solo (on a melody) and play the changes or other notes over it.

Hey, I never said they need to be recent! I think it'll be fun to listen through some of these.
When it gets a bit a bit cooler I might think of something else. Shutting myself in my little music room when the temp's over 30C is not appealing at the moment.
It's been over 40° outside for the past few days, and I need to close the door to play, so the cooler air can't come in.

Air con couldn't cope at the office yesterday, we ended with 32° inn with 38 out. In the meantime, my studio in the basement remained below 24°. So that's where I spend the night.

It's still cooler than outside this morning. Really hot day ahead.
