I have my eye on a G4M "Howard" tenor in mint condition for £170, whereas a new Rosedale tenor can be had for £279, but the Jericho J6 isn't a lot more. Anyone have a review of any of these?
Robbie, are you around? Any news on the J6 tenor "pass around"?

Or should I wait for a Walstein tenor to appear, at around the £300 mark?

still working on the old Russian tenor but I don't think it'd be my main instrument. More a test bed for experimenting.

Maybe someone has a nice tenor they'd like to swap for my Beaugnier alto???

Feeling seems to be that the G4M Howard is the same as the Rosedale.

So if it's true and the Howard is mint, it's good value.

G4M had to change the name from Howard to Rosedale because of some confusion with another Howard saxophone. The Rosedale retails around the £400 mark new, whereas their basic retails around £250. It's a reasonable instrument to play but for resale I don't think there's much profit in it.

I was looking to keep this one Colin. However, I do always have an eye on resale values as who knows when I would tire of it (about two weeks?). Rosedale tenor £279 on Amazon brand new from G4M with 12 mth g'tee, plus £12 delivery. At the normal price of £439 it makes £170 look good for the Howard but when G4M keep discounting their products it doesn't seem so great.
So then you think about buying the new one at £279 for the warranty, and that brings you up to J6 MkII prices (and I liked the J6 alto) with a three year warranty. BUT... I can't find a single review of the J6 MkII tenor. Not one!
