Probably because he was a player first Ian, then became a club owner. He really is overlooked at times, I know the BBC showed a documentary about him that was a good watch.
After playing 'Three Little Words' he says " That was for the gentleman that wanted 'Yellow Rose Of Texas'. Well it contained some of the notes, just not in the right order.."
