Anyone got- or know where I can get- one of those rather nasty reed/neck pickups for sax? I’ve got a bit of stuff coming up trying to fake a Van Der Graaf Generator/Hot Rats era Zappa sort of sound and thought one of these would do the job nicely. Plus- I seem to remember they work well with guitar effects too…..

Precisely- my desire to do the 1970s 'electric sax' thing is something of a one off
.. and, as you'll know, that's pretty much what its good for

Might invest in one of the Thomann ones- add to my arsenal of daft noises.......

Ah yes....my sound engineer guru at work again- every so often the ides of recording with his space rock band comes while we're out drinking - i think both post relate to that..... does it count as a double post as they are Two years apart?

Quadruple post

2 posts times 2 years = 4

Jules, I have a C-Ducer pickup from the 80s, let me know if you're interested.
