Thank you all for your communication and helpful recommendations/comments. landed a new Cannonball Big Bell in black nickel and am incredibly pleased with the tone, tight mechanism and excellent intonation. It is closer to the tone of my vintage Conn than I would have expected from a modern horn (must be the big bell). The ergonomics are easy to adjust to and the intonation is superb. The bell keys, palm keys and altissimo pop out effortlessly. The two different necks (black nickel and silver) are quite different in tone and response, as advertised. The black nickel is more focused and a little brighter with quicker response while the silver has a more round and open tone. The attention to detail in the construction and the set-up is fantastic. The case hugs it very well with ample storage while being very lightweight for a baritone case. The wheels will be nice inside buildings. This is not my first baritone. I have played a Conn (1925) for 30 years. I have also played Selmer Super Action 80 (1st gen), Yamaha 52 and 61 not really liking any of them enough to hold on to them. This time, I think I am done shopping for a low A baritone.
