Saxophones Raymond Dubois Essor sop

A friend bought this silver (plated?) soprano on ebay a few years ago and has left it untouched. She brought it to our quartet last night, not to play but so that our leader, an experienced soprano player, could have a look. It was in it's original, battered and full-of-character wooden box. Looks 1920ish, French, but that's about all we could tell. It has a few leaks, nothing not fixable, but otherwise sounded really nice.
Any ideas or information about the make

Many thanks, chums

I've wanted one of those for ages. I saw a tenor on ebay a few years back, but didn't have the money. Haven't seen any others since. Afik it's standard silver plated brass. Might easily be high pitch, given it's age - the french were later converting than others.

Best bet for info is Helen at bassic sax, she's a member here and may know something.

Perhaps this helps (how's your french?)
