Saxophones Rare York Tenor?

Rare York Tenor? Sorry I am new to the site but needed some help on whether this is a true York Tenor or a Buescher Stencil. It was claimed to be made in 1948 but the rail key-guards have fooled me.
Please let me know your thoughts!
It is in immaculate shape and came with a Artis, Babbit Mouthpiece.
Thank you!

This should really be a new thread IMO!
As far as I know, all York saxes were Buescher stencils. From the pics (and judging by the left hand little finger keys) this could be a Buescher Aristocrat stencil, but cannot see enough of it to be sure.
Cheers,
M.

Sorry, yes, I should have started a new thread--my apologies!
Maybe you are correct. It plays like an Old Buescher 240, but the square-wire key guards threw me---
Thanks M!

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
