I recently found this on youtube and added it to "The History of Top 40 Saxophone Solos-1955-2012"
The band's agent indicates that Gary Barnacle is the tenor player. If this is Gary on the youtube clips he has an excellent tone on this song.
I have Gary listed in the book on several other songs and I realize that he is one of the top UK session musicians.
Question; he plays what appears to be a K "Shadow" in the first clip and maybe a white finish tenor in the second clip. The photo I have in the book shows a white finish.
Does anyone know what brand mouthpiece he is using? It is hard to determine from the youtube clips and I could not find his web site.
Thanks
