Hey Guys,

Just landed a gig playing tenor sax solo at restaurant to backing tracks for nigh-on 3 hr set. Is well paid gig, but obviously will need to deliver the goods. I have all the Abesold stuff, but feel I need something with at least one piano / bass solo per track to provide more variety etc. One idea I had would be to record some piano solos myself along with the tracks, but maybe quite time consuming, so ideally I'd be happy to make an investment in some good backing tracks, if any kind people could point me to some good sources. I have a budget of about £50 (ish) to spend and need standards as well as more modern 'cheesy' stuff :). All ideas welcome....Many thanks.

Just found this site which looks really good. www.custombackingtrack.com You can buy the basic track or you can customise it by removing various instruments (so if you are a guitarist you can remove the guitar part and play along with it)
Well worth a look
