I`ve been deciding between two mouthpieces for a while now and I`m keeping the Link STM , the PPT is a fantastic piece with such a gentle lay that 8* isn`t scary to play at all but I play a Yamaha 62, a horn noted for its brightness to begin with and I`m finding the combo for my music a bit too bright and find the softer delivery of the STM more suited . The PPT has far more power, it really can rattle windows but I`m personally preferring the darker piece on this already bright sax ..
I bought this direct from Pete in February I think , it had Cosmetic Flaws (shown as white bits in the photos below, see one inside the chamber and one on the beak near the tip) which Pete assured me don`t make any difference to the playing and he`s rigtht, they don`t .. I`ll be supplying it in the original tube and with the old Vandoren metal lig which JamesMac gave me as these Onyxite pieces are a pig to find a metal lig for which fits and this one fits just fine
Condition is as it came from Pete bar some ligature rash .. Asking £125 - 5% goes to the Forum . will accept Paypal at your expense or bank transfer - postage at cost of course .
