The Clarinet and Saxophone Society are having a single reed day at Kneller Hall, Twickenham on Sunday the 31st October.

Adults pay £15. Students 23 and under £7.50. CASS members £10. Not bad for a fun day out, if you live near enough.

A friend and I are already booked on that. Went to KH in 1982 for a year so will be interesting to see how the place has changed.

Hi Nick, I think you'll have a great time if you go. If you have the Autumn edition of the CASS magazine you will find the day's events listed on page four. It's a fun day out playing, and you can browse the trade stalls as well. You might pick up a bargain.

I haven't been to a CASS event for ages as I don't like long distance driving anymore and the weekend events are so expensive. A play day near me, that's what I want.

There's a press photo of one of the groups I play with on page 56. I'm playing the baritone.
