Misc recording Pink Panther (work in progress)

Yeah, I know. But a keyboard-playing friend wants to play this and some other sax cliches with me at New Year. Haven't posted any clips for a while so here's a first stab at it. Solo section needs some work, to say the least.

Where did you get that neat backing track? Your time and rhythmic accuracy are exceptional. When I play this tune I try to get a more "naughty" sound, especially in bars 13 - 16 of the melody by using a "growl". Regardless of the sound you are after, you can't go wrong by playing along with Plas Johnson with the volume turned up and trying to match his style, articulation, and phrasing on this classic Mancini tune.

Yes, I've been working on controlling the growl. Ithink on that tak I controlled it out of existence.
