The sax is in excellent condition. Its a professional model made in the 1950s, with a fast, light action and great tone.
It was overhauled about 18 months ago - all corks and pads and felts sorted.

No thank you, I believe you. How did you calculate it's a1950's sax given the curious Pierret numbering sequence please ?
 
it's quite late in the sequence for a 'poimbouef' style pierret, so i think chalkandtalk is right. if it IS a sequence. a picture of the neck receiver on the body would show something about the age - late models have a swollen look, rather like selmers, earlier/normal ones are straight, like SML, or most other things.

these are great saxes. no i don't want to buy it.
 
Just in case anyone is interested - I found a small joint that needs soldering. So I’m going to try and get this repaired quickly and hopefully get the sax back on sale.
