Phil Barone Metal "Jazz" Tenor 8 Mouthpiece..........

Hi Folks!

I am selling my Phil Barone mouthpiece (In spotless condition - only played a few times, and really under used) hopefully to a good home. For those not in the know Phil is a long time devotee of the original Otto Link metal mouthpieces and has been concerned that their quality is not what it was. The "Jazz" mouthpiece is described as his darkest mouthpiece, with a very large chamber, producing a fat, lush, rich sound - Charles LLoyd plays one, if you want to check it out on www.charleslloyd.com

The cost new, inc. shipping from the States, less Import costs is about £260. I am offering it for sale at £165 inc. P&P with £8.50 to Pete's Fund. The ligature I use on it is a gold Rico H ligature, which fits well. It comes without ligature.

PM me with any queries. My main Tenor piece is a Francois Louis T280 ML (HR type) and I just don't think that metal mouthpieces are for me.

Kind regards
Tom😎

The mouthpiece is still available - at a reduced cost of £150 inc P&P, with £7.50 to Da Management. I am open to trades - inc. Francois Louis (Tenor & Alto), Lebayle metal, and other pieces - PM me with any offers.

Kind regards
Tom

I really like these pieces..... By the way, what ligature do you use..?
I find a selmer 404 is slightly too big - I use cardboard shims (The 402 is far too small) OR I use a sop lig...

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
