Pedale - A Little Saxophone Electronica

A good few months ago (apparently 8 at the time of writing) I posted a track that came about when I was sent a riff by a leading member of the underground electronica music scene, which resulted in this.

A month ago he/she/it sent me something else as a challenge. This time, though, it was just a three note bass line. This is what I came up with. I'm not sure even 80's Stallone would recognise his/her/its bass line but it's in there ... I think. ;)

Though my sister doesnt seem able to appreciate it!
It is a little out of the ordinary. ;)

I'm not sure many people realise that it's a sax playing the melody, either. When I listened back to it I wondered what the Selmer technicians from back in 1927 would think of how their creation was being used today.

Its not a style or genre I'd listen to but I really enjoyed the sax lines and was coming around to the whole vibe after a while - sounded very credible indeed.

To be honest, it's not my normal genre either, but 80's Stallone sends me something and then challenges me to come up with something that could have been recorded in the 80s.

I couldn't resist putting the 5/8 section in, though. :D
