This is a very well treated pair of Genelec powered monitors. They haven't been used much (mostly sitting on a bookshelf propping the books up. A few minor scuffs (will post some pics) Apart from that they are in very reasonable shape, some scuffs on the bottom and a few very minor marks on the sides where the finish is not quite so shiny, which I think the photos show. The main thing is they sound like, well, Genelecs.

Used briefly in a smoke free home studio, which I then had to close down so these ended up on the shelf. No original boxes, but will be packed extremely well. I have the "manual" and quick set up guide.

Power input is 115 - 230v

£750 or reasonable offer, 5% to charity.

The Genelec 1030A is a very compact bi-amplified active monitor system, which has performance comparable to much larger systems. The vented speaker enclosure has an amplifier unit set into the back. This unit contains an active electronic crossover, overload protection circuitry and two power amplifiers: one for each driver. The system’s excellent dispersion and precise imaging together with its compact size make it ideal for near field monitoring, broadcast and TV control rooms, mobile vans, home studios and travelling engineers.

Genelec’s unique Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW ™) technology is used to provide excellent stereo imaging and frequency balance, even in difficult acoustic environments and the versatile crossover controls allow further matching of the system to its surroundings.

Because the amplifiers are built into the speaker enclosure, the only connections required are the mains supply and the line level input signal, making the 1030A very easy to set up and use.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
