I'm going to post originals here and try to furnish a backing track anyone who wishes, to post their versions of the songs.

To post a Soundcloud or Box.net URL, just paste in the post and the player will magically appear.

Here are 8 to start. Pick one!

Mr Roulette
Originally recorded in 1972 by Freddy Roulette (I wrote it for him). Also features Don 'Sugarcane' Harris on violin. Originally in the concert D, I moved to C concert (A on the alto, D tenor). The intro and the outro are identical. My alto playing on this, as everything, is a work in progress.

Here's that recording on Janus Records.

I know @Pete Effamy has a version, too. (hint)

I certainly like the backing, but am more interested in "doing my own thing" rather than playing a written head and then a series of improvisations. I'd much rather do an improvisation on the whole thing. Once again I'm not interested in the "standard" style/formulae. If this is "offensive" then I won't post anything. This is your "baby" Randy so you may not wish to see it raised or tutored in an inappropriate manner!
