not exactly cheap ligatures but not crazy priced either
Sanborn is using a 70's handmade dukoff D7 with matching handmade ligature (i have exactly the same set up for my alto, not cheap) and Phil is using his custom 5 meyer with probably a custom lig with it.


i got a feeling this is a spin off of the "do ligatures make a difference" post

I am afraid I know which ligature is Phil Woods using. I currently use one like that.
They used to be ordinary stock stuff. Now they are sought after. I will not disclose the make not to enhance the internet hype that might start to surround them.
They are plain brass, though.
