Not quite as exciting as Pagani's 4-wheeled version, but has anyone tried Zonda reeds? Bored with the predictability of opening yet another pack of Java 3s, I went out on a limb and ordered the most obscure reeds I could find and a pack of Mr Gonzales finest arrived a couple of days ago. I am impressed - well apart from the home-made cardboard protectors they come in - although I suppose they are at least recyclable......

2 of the 5 played great straight out of the box, the other 3 needed a tiny amount of attention from the sandpaper; but they now all have a richness and depth at the opposite end of the spectrum from Java's and work very nicely with my newly acquired Jody Jazz HR. If you are interested, I reckon Zonda 2H equate pretty much to a Java 3.

Anyway, here's a picture of one......http://tinyurl.com/cfcvmvw
