Missing bell key guard wires and G# trill key so don't feel too bad!

Couldn't notice a missing bell key on the photos he sent and G# trill keys are commonly removed so they are pretty easy to replace. I think that would have been a good buy. It was on Gumtree

No, the wires leading from the body tube to the guard wires. Spoke to him yesterday but he already had someone coming to see it in Weybridge. He texted me earlier today to say it had sold.

The Conn 6M only used wires as key guards really. Is that what you mean? I got the same text so I thought you may have got in there! I don't remember you having a 6M. Was it an Underslung? I have a friend who's father has one and may well be selling it.

Steven Howard's review of the 6M was exceptional. He really likes them so it should be a good recommendation for a horn.

Yes, the wires from the bell key wire guard should connect to ones which follow the keys arms and connect to the body tube. These were missing. Not had a 6M, but since yesterday pursuing something said to be better, down the Keilwerth route. Not the Olds Super!
