Hi y'all.
Found the forum whilst eliminating a counterfeit Selmer sa80 sII alto from my 'to buy' list (thanks).
Phew, I'll just have to put up with my sIII Tenor

Welcome to the café.
What's the cute kitty's name?
Very aged reply.
My wife sent his the blanket to the cat and dog shelter today.
His name is Cooper, and he's a naughty little boy (NOT the Messiah)
Going from E Coast to W Coast (UK) tomorrow to buy a YAS32. I have a good feeling.
Regards
Chris

Well...Lurking really...
In 4 years....
Sold the Selmer SIII tenor (because I'm not worthy)
Sold my YCL64 clarinet (ditto)
Sold my YAS 62 alto (ditto)
Bought a YTS 275 and sold it - got fed-up with sorting the sticky G# pad. It sounded very nice with a Selmer soloist-style G on it.
Bought a YTS 475 and sold it - because I needed the money
Been playing my deceased dad's Keilwerth SX90 (not R) may have to sell it because (ditto)
Got my dad's Selmer Series 9 clarinet (bought new by him 1976) Full overhaul. but don't play it because (ditto). Maybe one day
Bought one of the last (unused) Buffet B12 student Clarinets made in Germany. Feeling quite happy with it actually...
Bought a YAS 32 today . We'll see....
Still dabbling with recorder (sopranino, soprano, alto & tenor) Checking out a local Early Music Ensemble next week.
And the flipping Piano is still a torment.

My dad's advice was ..".buy the best you can, you need all the help your horn can give you" But...(ditto)
