Well better late than not at all, First of all it's not JAZZ and there are no complex changes, did I hear a collective sigh of relief?? :)

'Dorian.???'

The track is x4 choruses, the tempo is 85, NO INTRO just a drum count in. The melody can be used as a guide, so you can play around with the phrasing:thumb: @aldevis will be along shortly to give some pointers as to how you can get round this one:) Main thing is give it a go and have fun.

Why Db minor (in the Bb part) instead of the relativeily civlized C# minor?

Looking forward to it ta

October break may delay contribution...

I see that Dorian is also called Doric (on Wikithingy at least), which is the dialect my Beloved grew up with... she's not the easiest Scrabble opponent... many words appear that she claims are English but instead are Doric

"What does that mean?"

"Oh. Drinking session"

OK. What does that mean?

"Having a few drinks with friends"

"And this???"

"Drinking alone. Or with someone"

You get the drift. Also one gets a hint of what the Doric speakers in the North East of Scotland must do for recreation.

Hi Martin, BiaB has an odd way of dealing with enharmonic spellings. I tried 2 or 3 different things and nothing would get the software to use C#m7. Good job there is only the one, just tippex it out and write in the C#m7.
Hopefully all the accidentals are right though:)

This month's tune terrifies me on many levels, mainly that chronic sinusitis kinda kills your chops (which clearly the guy below also suffers from ;)) still I'll give it go hopefully :)

Come on guys it's all very quiet round here>:), for anyone struggling, @aldevis will hopefully jump in with a few pointers as to how you can get around this one, don't worry about the melody:thumb: just use it as a guide for something to play. There's only 10 days left:w00t:

Done a version but no access to upload until tomorrow eve
The sax sounds bare against the relative electronica... but I twiddled a few knobs on Audacity and the two mesh better despite an unfortunate stereo sea-sick effect from the phaser mode ( I blame Capt Kirk)
