Well, the Devil makes work for idle hands. I've just noted down all the saxes and mouthpieces I have owned over the years. The total is (gulp) 27 saxes and 102 mouthpieces. Oh dear. And it gets worse, as well. I've been playing for thirty years, and for about the first 24 of those I had two saxes (sop and tenor) and a handful of mouthpieces.

My name is Jon and I'm a saxoholic.

You're lucky Jon. At least you got a sensible result. I've spent three hours trying to fix my pond remote temperature sensor. The thermocouple which sits at the bottom of the pond is linked by wire to a small head unit that has its own LCD display and sends wireless temp data to a display in the study that is linked to my PC. The wire had broken where it entered the head unit. Almost impossible to strip the wire and resolder to the PCB, even with my electronics skills. All I ended up with is no LCD display at the head unit but
-50C showing on the PC display. I know the fish look grumpy but its not that cold! Time for a large pink gin martini.

Your fish are lucky.

Mine just have to do their best under two inches of ice, broken occasionally by a football or various children testing their ice skating skills on a 4' x 4' ornamental pond.

The fish that don't die of stress or hypothermia are a true testimony to Survival of the Fittest.

Ours doesn't freeze over completely Pete because the water is pumped and filtered so it's always moving.
Went skating on a frozen lake nr Copenhagen years ago. Hundreds of people there. A very Breughel like scene.
LOve the suit Sunray! I might need it to clean out the bottom drain once the weather gets a bit warmer.
