Nice Yamaha Alto for a Tenor

I have a pristine Yamaha YAS62, ( the nicest I have owned and played),but need a tenor. I would like to swap with an appropriate cash adjustment if necessary. Willing to discuss any deal and will make a donation to Pete's fund as usual.

The northern hemisphere 62s appear to have red interiors for the cases where my two 62s tenor and alto have blue velvet interiors...although this model is bit younger than my "purple logo horns".

Somebody should snap this up...

Thanks, Greg.It looks great and blows beautifully and I am reluctant to part with it. If I don't get a decent trade I won't be sorry to keep it and go for a cheap tenor like the Academy Jerico. We will see! I wouldn't want to be without an alto.

There certainly is Rhys. All exactly as normal YAS 62 spec. She rolls effortlessly from bottom B-flat to top F-sharp- loud, bright, smooth and clear as a bell

Checked on eBay yesterday and the last sold fetched £1140. They really are nice.

A little too much for me as I have just bought another Martin that needs an overhaul. I am in two minds whether to sell my Freemont Excalibur Tenor (used twice!) - sourced via John Bilham in Norwich. If you get a chance to try one you would be very impresssed.

I'd like to sell or swap my Martin Committee III 150xxx tenor, but I'd like to have a purple logo 62..:-(
IMHO, Paul should mention if he wants a vintage or a new horn. (Or did I overlook something?)

O.k.....looks as though there are no offers on this. I'll leave it for a few more days just in case. Actually, I played it this a.m. with a friend in my trio/duo, and really fell in love with it again! so, I'll put in a wanted add for a tenor and see what happens.
