I'm missing something - greetings from Ireland, yet you're going to take lessons in Reading...

Whatever, have fun and don't be afraid to ask.

Watcha Mate ...

Hey Hey Eric ... *Sunray waves from Norfolk*

Nice to meet you ...

I am a also newcomer here and find everyone really helpful and polite to each other ...

Of course - there is quite a bit of good humoured fun here as well ...

Which really compliments a well organised and attended website.

Cheers mate - Enjoy ;}

Hi Eric!

A very warm welcome from the Skabertawe 3 button Soprano Sax Collective! :w00t:;}
Hope you are already enjoying your sax.

Of course, Kev, people can have online lessons - plenty available from the States etc.
Kind regards
Tom:cool:

Much appreciateed.

Tom: I don't get to try the Yam until next Wed. Can't Wait.
I looked at online lessons because of my geographic isolation but want the one-to-one relationship that will help me develop the right habits from the off.
Drummers have told me that mistakes with posture and stick holding grips can easily be rectified in an instant with a teacher guiding you before you develop muscle tension or worse.

Sue and Sunray: for sure I'm gonna have fun making sweet music, thanks.

Kev: What can I say? I got me a great deal. The new sax comes with 15% off.

Normally post "Welcome to the caff, Eric." but that is so boring when it could be

Oh Eric boy, the sax, the sax is calling.
From Reading town across the Irish Sea.
Oh Eric boy, that Yamaha is heading
for jazz and blues, it is a lucky 'E'.

Now off for a little lie down.

Mr. OG thank you.
You have inspired me.

I love entertaining people and one day I hope to actually meet some entertaining people.

Taz,
It's not a classic, it's The Londonderry (better be careful here) or Derry Air.

Anything is better than Barry McQuigan's dad singing it.

Welcome Eric
Well you've already seen what it's like here. I'll have to pop round and check on OG later. Must have been sniffing the duplicator spirit - too much printing of posters for his (very worthy) Save the Housing Wardens campaign.
