Accessories Neck Pouch

Having just got a Berkeley shaped alto case off ebay, I realised that there's no compartment for the crook. So I started looking for a crook and mouthpiece pouch I could fit down the bell.

The Kiwi pouch looked like it was just the job, until I read this - http://bassic-sax.info/blog/?p=34735 - it seems like the alto pouches are the same length as the tenor ones, so won't go all the way into the bell...

The only other suitable pouch I can find is the Wiseman - http://wisemancases.com/buy/?slug=product_info.php&products_id=120 - which is nice, but it's £33

anyone got any other suggestions, apart from using a tea towel or old socks etc

also, does anyone know of a decent lockable luggage strap.. if some jobsworth at an airport makes me check it into the hold, I want to make sure the baggage handlers can't get the case open and steal anything

The Wiseman ones are the best I have seen and are great, but costly. I've got them for alto, tenor and bari.

I also have a Kiwi for tenor and a Neotech for alto, both quite old but good. Neotech is like this: http://www.justflutes.com/neotech-s...ium=merchant&gclid=COHyyc2U0rcCFXIQtAodhgwA8g

I read that blog about the Kiwi and think it may depend on how you use it: I sort of fold over or wrap up the end of the pouch and they all seem to fit into the bell of the horn without sticking out and stopping the case from closing.

BG are very good/They fit the neck with the mp still on.My wife made mine but I want another BG 1.About £12.00 I think.

... I'm not sure what Mr Fry's reference to Crown Royal is about - does the bottle come in a velvet pouch? Or does drinking it make you not care about where you stick your crook?
