Myspace and it's slow, agonizing suicide

I've had an account on Myspace for years now and it's been very good for musicians being able to find other muscians and discover new music; I even got in to my band through it. However it seems to be killing itself with excessive advertising and now the powers-that-be have decided to alter everyones profile so they look mostly the same despite people having put a lot of work into their own design. Ergo, I am looking for another site that people can upload music to for public listening purposes but a site that is primarily music-based (unlike the likes of youtube which is pretty general).

Does anyone know of such (a) site(s)?

I haven't got an answer to your question, but it prompted me to click on your myspace and website. There's some interesting and entertaining stuff on there. I recommend that people go and take a look.

I've just moved Fat45's operation to "SoundCloud"- things are much more streamlined there.......

You can knock your own website up on www.wix.com, or reverbnation offers a simpler route.

SoundCloud looks good. SoundClick (www.soundclick.com) is another possibility, though it suffers from some of the same problems as MySpace.
