Hello folks,
well here it is, as promised, here is the FULL version of In a sentimental mood...
i hope you enjoy my version, i deliberatly kept it within the context of the melody, i felt no need to put my 'funk head' on...funk stuff to follow at a later date, then its fun time!

p.s
if you have youtube account feel free to leave a comment on the youtube page, if you feel like it...

thank you,

Ian T :)

That is some gorgeous playing Ian...That's my son's name and we're American!

I could hear the joy you're getting out your playing! Wonderful!

awww, thanks fella, really appreciated words, but i must do BOTM i promised Chris, and i always keep my word, my respect is 100% to the moderaters here who put in so much work... but please, regardless how others view my playing, you should NEVER treat this as competative or something to shy away from, end of the day we ALL play sax and we ALL love it, that is why we are here!
sax playing forever, i love it

Very nice indeed - I love your tone and technique but more importantly (for me) is the feeling and dynamics you play with :thumb:

i really hear you, feelings and dynamics can make (or break) a piece of music, a lot of 'cats' like to blow loud with no feeling,i understand, i been there too, and if need to i can blow VERY loud BUT i now focus on expression cos to me music is emotions..technique can also be gained by using expression and dynamics...
thank you for you response, and for you Artylady i will post a funky piece, how will i sell my album if i put my tracks here for free hahahah

Sounding very nice dude. The mix is also top draw. You have gotten the high's/lows and effects spot on in the production factor.Great swinging solo.

Yea, you've got it. Not just about how fast one plays, it's what you say and what you can communicate to others. Excellent.

agreed 100%, if i wanted to play fast then i could of put on my racing driver head and raced away but to me it would of been soooo out of context for the piece, and you are spot on when you say it is how to communicate to others, wise words said mister

Agree with all of that, looking forward to the funk, might have to rummage through see what funky play-alongs I've got - now I have my trusty zoom H1! :thumb:
