Love this tune! Another attempt on my recording journey - and I found the reverb button ha!

The recording decided to stop near the end of the solo so I continued and pasted it in so there is a bit of a gap :shocked: but nevermind I'll keep persevering

Very Good Lorna. The best I`ve heard from you recorded. really going for it and sounding in the zone. I`m glad the new setup is being user friendly. The less hassle we have with the techy stuff the more musical we can be. Oh I`d have just faded out rather than try the splice but it`s good experience . Your reverb effect was perfect.

I'm so much more confident performing live (I know I'm weird!) but Im getting there when I hit that record button where I used to just fall apart! Glad the reverb sounds okay

Great ideas in this recording especially when you improvise but i'd suggest to stay more "loose" when you record.
Let the melody flow, enjoy the song and forget the rec button.

Very good take though. I think aldevis did a version of moaning while testing a jericho alto wth the same backing track some months ago...and he played the main riff with his personal variation too! How nice....

It is woderful that 2 great covers of moaning come from this forum?

If my 2 kids ever let me record properly... Lets all play moaning with our personal touch. What a song!

Thanks for your comments Stelios, it is a fabulous tune - one of my favourites.

I'm working on forgetting that recording button!! perhaps as I start to do more of it it'll get easier

It doesn't get easier. The more you do the more demanding you get of yourself. The better you get at handling the technology, the more you find it can do so you push it more. Just like playing, never satisfied and always searching for more. I too prefer to play live but enjoy recording. Nice version by the way.

Ah well I'll keep at it and hope I get used to it! Thanks glad you like it (warts and all!) I will redo it at some point when I'm more used to how it all works
