Always look forward to playing with horn sections. Primary instrument is drums/percussion. Love good tempos but miss playing the melody. Hence the Mississippi Sax and a heck of a lot easier to set up! Found this site while searching for Martin (Route 66, Peter Gunn) an excellant Caribbean Sax player.

Welcome to the caff©, Smokestack.

Do they allow saxophonists aboard Proud Mary?

Hey Chris,

Well fancy meeting you here!

I just got back from a couple of weeks in Carriacou where we had a great evening playing at JB's with Stan and Cora. JB thought you'd be there, but apparently you were already in Grenada.

I'm still playing every Friday with Barracuda at the Old Boat Yard in Prickley Bay...will you be there?

Good to know you're around again.

Cheers,
Martin

Greetings from New Zealand and welcome to the Cafe Saxophone.

Didn't Little Walter Jacobs refer to his harmonica as the "Mississippi Saxophone"?

Regards,

Greg S.
