Wow...Never heard Harlem Nocturne played quite like that before, amazing! mind you I'd be a bit shy about playing in public AND in the buff!!

Lovely !

Will it be out in time for Christmas ? If so, I will give it to all my friends, so you can chalk up another three sales there.

Hi Pete,

Sounding great, and I too would quite like a signed copy if at all possible, I also need to get another copy of 'Taming the Sax' since a friend seems to have taken permanent possession of mine!

I take it that it's going to be a CD release, not a digital download? Personally I still like having a CD.

Best wishes,

Chris

Yes, it'll be a CD as well as digital download. It sounds better than the video, I'm trying out Vimeo as a video host, but I've noticed the sound distorts, I am trying to get that sorted out.

OK, Just reserved a couple of copies.

Pete i really like your version of Harlem Nocturne, quite different to Drew's "Skalem Nocturne" or indeed Earl Bostics version...but i wonder, as a player of your caliber how long does it take you to say for example pick a song you haven't played in a while then play it like that, is it more or less right away or does it take longer like days or weeks?

One of the first i managed to get sounding anything like was Charlie Parkers Yardbird Suite but it took me a couple of years at least to make it sound "right".

One other question, do you still have to maintain a daily practice routine even though you've been doing it years and know everything backwards? and if so what does your routine consist of, and for how long?

Thanks.
