Me or Sax?

Hiya

I was checking the intonation of my tenor yesterday and found that the lows are flat and the highs are sharp.

In some cases, i found it not possible to bend the note to the correct intonation no matter how hard i bend it.

Ya, i have a £150 Jupiter 500. I am not sure if it is solely my problem or something to do with this sax.

Unlikely to be the sax, but you never know. having said that no saxophones are 100% in tune, part off the joy of learning is discovering that this is so. And it's very normal for people to play flat low down and sharp higher up.

The cure? hard to say without seeing you play, so the best thing would be to discuss with a teacher.
