I usually try to get myself a project horn to work on during the winter, in the last few years I've done a Noblet tenor, 2 Conns (alto and tenor), and a Bentley Soprano. This year I had a Martin Indiana tenor lined up but unfortunately it failed to materialise.

I was looking forward to the Martin as I have heard a lot of good things about them, there are a lot of bargains in the US but importing is such an expensive exercise.

Does anyone over here know of or own a Martin tenor in need of restoration? I would usually spend between £300-£500 depending on model and condition (the Indiana was £250). A long shot but thought I'd ask, I have some others in the pipeline but would prefer a Martin. Thank you.

That's very kind of you both to take the time to answer, I would stress that I would want to buy said sax as if any thing were to go wrong I would be the only one to suffer. Prof I'll send you a pm.
